ERP Project Manager

Job Description


180 Systems is seeking a talented ERP Project Manager to lead the planning and implementation of ERP systems for our clients. This role requires experienced project management skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to deliver results in complex, multi-client environments.

Responsibilities                                                                                                                                                                                                       

  • Facilitate ERP project planning workshops with key stakeholders
  • Develop comprehensive project charters including timelines, scope, task lists (with RACI matrices), risk assessments, and governance documents.
  • Oversee all phases of the ERP implementation lifecycle, from Initiation to Deployment.
  • Define and monitor project scope, schedules, and budgets, aligning with client-defined critical success factors (CSFs).
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including dependencies, resource allocation, timelines, and critical paths.
  • Maintain and update the project RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) log, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Coordinate and schedule cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide leadership teams with strategic recommendations on project priorities, resource allocation, and scheduling.
  • Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and change requests notifying clients of an potential concerns.
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a multi-client environment.
  • Act as the primary liaison between client ERP teams and software vendors.
  • Hold client ERP teams and software vendors accountable to complete tasks on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and deliver status reports and presentations to stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Support clients with change management initiatives by analyzing as-is and to-be business processes.

Qualifications

  • Proven knowledge of ERP systems and implementation methodologies.
  • 2+ years of experience as a project manager or in a technology environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com).
  • MBA or CPA designation is an asset.
  • Business Analyst experience is an asset.

Salary

$100,000 – $120,000/year
